Traffic control involves directing vehicular and pedestrian traffic around a construction zone or other road disruption, thus ensuring the safety of construction workers and the general public. If mobile equipment or public traffic is identified as a hazard in a work zone, the Ontario Traffic Manual Book 7 (Temporary Conditions) must be utilized.
Traffic Control is a course that is designed for any worker who works in or near vehicular traffic. This course offers a general overview of the key concepts, while also addressing the specific procedures involved with different types of work.
