Intola Safety offers a half day course that focuses on the correct and safe use of oxy-acetylene cutting equipment, and includes:
This program is aimed at all operators as a training and safety guide in the correct procedures of oxy-acetylene cutting.
Intola Safety is committed to providing site and job-specific training, and can meet any demands. Regardless of experience, all participants will gain valuable knowledge and practice time from this course.
As with all other services offered, Intola Safety includes an explanation of the laws and regulations currently in place to protect users of oxy-acetylene equipment.
The classroom component of the session includes visual materials including pictures and videos, and culminates with a knowledge verification component (written test).
The practical component of the session will include equipment inspections, demonstrations and hands-on practice (wherever possible) for participants.
Participants of any oxy-acetylene safety courses must have access to the proper personal protective equipment (PPE). This necessary PPE includes, but is not limited to Approved Safety Boots, Welding Gloves, Appropriate Upper Body Clothing and Safety Shield/Goggles.
Whenever possible, participants are encouraged to use the equipment that they will be handling after leaving the course. For this reason, participants are encouraged to use their own equipment – providing it is in safe and proper working order. If necessary, Intola Safety can supply equipment upon request.
