Intola Safety is proud to be partnered with the Canadian Red Cross to offer the following First Aid and CPR courses:

Standard First Aid & CPR

In this course, practical hands-on components are combined with a variety of training materials such as: mannequins for practicing CPR, AED trainers, bandages, splinting materials, barrier devices, first aid kits, auto-injector trainers, inhalers etc.  All Canadian Red Cross programs meet the latest International guidelines and follow strict quality control guidelines and procedures for content development, update and delivery.

This course provides comprehensive First Aid & CPR techniques.  A variety of topics are covered from basic first aid such as cardiovascular and breathing emergencies, CPR Level A, prevention of disease transmission to more severe sudden medical conditions and injuries to the head and spine.

  • Certified Red Cross First Aid Instructors
  • 14–16 hours with flexible scheduling options
  • 3-year certification period

Emergency First Aid & CPR 

This course provides simple First Aid & CPR techniques.  The course covers skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies for adults, CPR Level A, and other topics such as choking, airway and breathing emergencies and prevention of disease transmission.

  • Certified Red Cross First Aid Instructors
  • 6.5–8 hours with flexible scheduling options
  • 3-year certification period

CPR/AED

This course is designed to provide various levels of CPR training based on participant’s background, needs and interest.  A presentation on how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (and certification) is also provided with the course.  Levels A and C are available depending on the skills needed.  (Level A: any individual, Level C: professional rescuers and childcare providers)

  • Certified Red Cross First Aid Instructors
  • Level A: 4 hours, Level C: 6 hours
  • 3-year certification period

Level A
Covers skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for people aged 8 and older, adult CPR – one rescuer, adult choking, barrier devices/pocket masks, and AEDs.

Level C 
Covers all CPR Level A course material and includes two-rescuer adult/child CPR, adult/child/baby CPR – one rescuer, adult/child/baby choking, barrier devices/pocket masks, AEDs, and adult/child two-rescuer CPR.
