According to the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS), fall protection equipment ‘should be inspected and certified at least yearly or more often by a trained and competent person.’
In accordance with various manufacturer recommendations, as well as applicable CSA Standards, Intola Safety offers inspections that ensure compliance as well as peace of mind for those involved in using the equipment.
All inspections involve written records. In cases where equipment is found to be deficient, there will be an explanation as to why such equipment has been rejected.
Intola Safety can inspect harnesses, lanyards and temporary anchorages.
Note: Intola Safety does not offer re-certification for Self-Retracting Lifelines (SRLs).
